Product Details
THOUGH THE STRANDED PART LOOKS MUCH MORE LIKE TUNING FORKS, I NAMED THIS PATTERN “TALIKKO” WHICH MEANS (PITCH) FORK IN FINNISH FOR THE ONLY REASON THAT I LOVE THE SOUND OF THIS WORD SO MUCH.
Talikko is worked seamlessly top down. The corrugated ribbing at the folded collar and cuffs is continued in the stranded stitch pattern, which can be worked with either two or one contrast colours.
OPTIONS:
Sleeves: The sleeves are worked nearly straight but if you prefer to work the sleeves more fitted, the pattern provides optional instructions for this.
Body: The body could be worked optional straight or with waist shaping.
GAUGE 10x10 cm/4”x 4”: 22 stitches x 32 rows on 3.5 mm needle
YARDAGE & SIZES: see in pictures
The sample is worked with Tukuwool Fingering (Fingering, 75% Wool - Finnish Landrace,25% Wool - Texel).
