Product Details
Tanilba Bay is a beautiful shallow bay in the Port Stephens area of Australia. It is flat and at low tide there are rivulets and pools of water left. Wading birds including the Eastern Curlew can be seen all along the bay feeding.
This wrap is inspired by the landscape and the water at low tide. It has simple straight ridges and meandering rivulets.
The two patterns alternate - sand and water. Sand is a simple eyelet pattern using ssk and Water is a 11 stitch vertical zigzag with twisted rib in one half. It's quick to do and looks great.
The overall effect is a gentle airy wrap that can be worn over summer or evening wear or snuggled into in the colder temperatures.
