What you'll need
Product Details
Tapestry II is a worsted-weight version of an old favorite. It's a richly textured cardigan in cables and lace, with a stitch pattern that enhances the waist. The cabled-button band is knit in up the front, then wraps cozily around the neck.
Construction: The sweater body is knitted flat from the bottom in one piece to underarms, then knitted separately as two fronts and a back. The cabled buttonband is worked as part of the sweater body, then continues as a narrow band around the neckline. Buttonholes are worked as eyelets within the front cable. Sleeves are set in.
Techniques: Cables, lace, reading charts.
Pattern includes: Written instructions, stitch patterns in charted format only, schematics, glossary.
Gauge: 19 sts and 26 rows = 4" in stockinette stitch, 16 sts and 30 rows = 4" in seed stitch using size 7 needles.
