Product Details
A new pattern enters the Tartanesque collection : the poncho !
It uses the stitch patterns and the motifs of the other patterns: 2x2 ribs for borders and crossed lines evoking tartans.
For the poncho, I didn’t used exactly the same motif, but I adapted it, to create a new one. This motif is explained by chart.
This poncho is worked in one piece, a big rectangle which is assembled to form the poncho. The way to assembly it is explained by a schema. Then, you pick up stitches to work the bottom border and the neckline.
It is available in 3 sizes, the smaller one can fit a 10-12 year old girl. Instructions are also given if you want to make a shoulder-warmer using this pattern.
You will need 600 to 800 meters / 660 to 880 yards of Aran yarn and 4.5 mm / US# 7 needles.
