Tartanesque socks are made for men and women.
I used a motif pattern similar to the one I created for the Tartanesque vest. This motif pattern is worked in stockinette stitch and reverse stockinette stitch. It makes these socks very addictive to work and very comfortable to wear.
Tartanesque socks are available in 4 width sizes (S, M, L and XL) and 11 shoe sizes : 35, 36, 37, 38, 39, 40, 41, 42, 43, 44, 45 / 4, 5, 5.5, 6.5, 7.5, 8, 9, 9.5, 10, 11, 12.
They are worked from toes up. You can make them bicoloured or single-coloured. You have the choice between two heel options too : an after-thought heel, or a heel with gusset and heel-flap.
Depending on the size, you will need from 250 to 400 meters / 270 to 437 yards of fingering sock yarn.
