Another old man sweater to match Grow Old With Me! This bulky fit, top-down raglan pullover, knit mostly in stockinette, has a thick, warm, double layered shawl collar.

It is available in 6 months (12 months, 18 months, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12) years.

MATERIALS NEEDED Malabrigo Rios, Worsted – 10 ply, 100% Merino, 210 yards – 192 meters / 100 grams – 400 (480, 540, 600, 880, 1100, 1300, 1550, 1750) yards – 365 (440, 495, 550, 800, 1000, 1200, 1400, 1600) meters US 7 – 4.5 mm circular and double pointed needles US 6 – 4.0 mm circular and/or double pointed needles 8 stitch markers 1 1 in – 19-25 mm button

Difficulty: Intermediate - The buttonband is shaped and knit along with the rest of the sweater, and then folded in and seamed. Knowledge of raglan construction and shaping would be valuable, although all instructions are written out clearly in the pattern. Buttonhole or blanket stitch is used to seam together the double layered buttonhole.
