Who doesn’t love a ripple? Whether you call it a chevron, a zig zag or a ripple, it’s a classic favorite that conjures fond memories. This wavy design works up nice and quick, making an especially squishy cozy blanket. It’s finished off with an easy to follow border that squares off the ripples on the ends.
The pattern has clear directions to take the confusion out of the hills and valleys, photos to help clarify along the way, an easy multiple to make any size you want, and two different border options to square off the bottom. You’ll be happy to make this your new go to squishy ripple pattern!
Pattern calls for 800 - 1000 yards of worsted or baby weight yarn. Instructions are written for a 7-repeat baby blanket with a size H/5mm crochet hook coming out about 26” x 30”. Standard US terms are used. Helpful photos are provided, along with general pattern reading overview and how to do stiches used.
