Hickory Dickory Dock, The mouse ran up the clock....

This delightful tank top or sweater vest is sized for toddlers (shown in size S on a 20" chest model) with sizes to fit children from around 1 to 3 years. Sleeveless and with around 2.5-3" of ease for a slim fit but with room for a t-shirt underneath, this fun top is ideal for autumn, or for when the days of spring are starting to warm up too.

The vest is worked flat and seamed, with an intarsia clock motif and added patch pocket with its own little mouse to run up the clock, just as it strikes one! The clock is charted; the mouse is also worked flat and seamed. The pattern uses approx 240 yards (280 yards, 300 yards) of the main colour, 90-120 yards of the first contrast, 60-80 yards of the second contrast, less than 10 yards for the clock face, and 20-25 yards for the mouse.

Sizes are based on a tension of 22 sts and 30 rows over 4 inches of stocking stitch using 4mm (US6) needles with DK yarn.
