Product Details
The G Bees are the Birtish cousins of Wanna Bee (inspired by New Zealand's Buzzy Bee - created in the late 1930s and still a firm favourite today). The British flag is made up of the Scottish, English and Northern Irish flags. Wales was part of England at the time of adoption in 1801, which is why the Welsh flag is not incuded.
The pattern covers the 4 bees pictures - Jack (Union flag), Andrew (Scotland), George (England) and Patrick (Northern Ireland)
Special technique/s: i-cord
Gauge is not important for this project.
Quantities (all in 8ply):
Jack - 30m red, 40m navy and 50m ecru/white; 2 silver buttons for wheel hubs
Andrew - 60m royal blue and 60m white; 2 white buttons for wheel hubs
George - 40m red and 80m white; 2 red buttons for wheel hubs
Patrick - 115m white and 5m red; 2 red buttons for wheel hubs
The yanr list looks long, but it itemises the yarn specific to each bee (for stash use).
If you buy 1 ball of each of the 5 colours, you can make the full set with plenty left over!
