The Gift of Warmth Sweater

I created this pattern for the charity knitting Facebook Group "The Gift of Warmth", formerly known as "Fish 'n Chip Babies". The brief was for a simple sweater that buttoned on the shoulder for children from 2 upwards. I have kept it as simple as possible, giving instructions for a plain sweater with the addition of a row count for the stripes. It has a square neck with the garter stitch neckline incorporated with the knitting of the main body, so no picking up stitches around the neck.
