Product Details
The shawl is knit sideways on the bias in one- and two-color brioche and garter stitch in the two main colors. They are worked on their own at the very beginning and end of the main part and blended together in the center, creating a gradient effect. The contrasting brioche border combines different techniques – among them are brioche short-rows. An i-cord edge in the contrast color surrounds the entire shawl for a clean finish.
Yarn: 3 colors of (Light) Fingering weight yarn
Yardage: 434 m / 475 yards of Color A, 497 m / 544 yards of Color B, 454 m / 497 yards of Color C
Gauge: 22 sts / 48 rows = 10 cm / 4” in garter stitch (after blocking)

Das Tuch wird seitwärts auf der Diagonalen in ein- und zweifarbigem Patent und Kraus-Rechts gearbeitet. Es wird mit der dunkleren Farbe begonnen, danach werden im Mittelteil beide Farben graduell miteinander verblendet, bevor zum Schluss nur mehr die zweite Farbe verwendet wird – so entsteht ein Farbverlauf.
