This infinity scarf was the first crochet pattern I ever designed. I made it as a gift for someone, and later throught how there are so many beginner crocheters looking for a simple pattern that has a couple of interesting changes. When I was a beginner crocheter, all the patterns I found were for basic, single crochet scarves, and I wanted something little bit more interesting. This was why I decided to make this scarf in the round - but don't freak out! It's still nice and basic, but has a different stitch pattern and helps you learn how to crochet in the round. You'll get lots of practise with the half double crochet stitch and reading written patterns. The scarf also works up amazingly quickly as it is worked with a super chunky (6) yarn.
