Product Details
This pattern is a fairly simple way to start lace work stitches. It uses some yarn overs and some k2tog and SL2tog type steps. It can be worked up with any worsted weight (#4) cotton yarn of your choice. It is written and worked up using a U.S. size 6 knitting needles, however, that can be adjusted to your preferences as well. Just remember using a smaller size needle will result in a smaller, tighter knit dishcloth and larger needles would result in a larger, looser knit dishcloth. I would consider this a beginner pattern, but not a first time knitting pattern. So one for someone wanting to expand beyond simple knit and purl stitches. This is the second pattern release in my series of dishcloths named for the women of my family.

- You can use either straight single point needles or the circulars. I tend to prefer the circulars.
