Product Details
Did you know that a snowboard was originally called a snurfer? The word came from combining “snow” and “surfer”, because you were essentially surfing on snow covered hills. The first prototype was made with two skis that were held together and a rope was attached to the front to hold onto for stability. Eventually it became just one board with the rope, before slowly evolving into the snowboards we know today. I love snowboarding, so I decided to finally design my own cowl to wear when I go. The 2x2 ribbing gives it a snug fit from your nose all the way to the base of your neck. Some added short rows in the front allow the cowl to lay out nicely when draping onto your chest and prevents any unnecessary fabric bunching up on the back of your neck. So if you enjoy snurfing, snowboarding, skiing, sledding, snow-tubing, or if you just hate the cold air in general like I do, this cowl will be perfect for you. Happy knitting!
