These beautiful fair isle handwarmers have lovely thistle inspired fairisle detail.
The handwarmers are knit in the round with 3mm (2.5US) double pointed needles. The pattern includes instructions for two sizes, with blocked measurements around the knuckles of 6.5” and 8”.
The sample is knit with Drops Alpaca (sport weight; 100% alpaca), 50 grams/167meters (183 yards), in:
1 ball Off White (0100)
1 ball Navy/Purple (6736)
1 ball Dark Green (7895)
There are endless potential great colour combinations and other types of yarn that would suite this pattern!
The pattern includes a chart for the fair isle section of the handwarmer.
