Product Details
A “sheet” in nautical terms refers to the ropes that control a ship’s sails. “Three sheets” or “three sheets to the wind,” a common colloquialism for being inebriated, takes its origin from the loss of control of the ship that occurs when when the sheets are loose. Three cables fan out from one corner of this asymmetrical shawl like loose sheets on a triangular sail.
The lower edge is decorated with a swirling design reminiscent of wind eddies that is created only with increases and decreases. This shawl is knit with luscious DK-weight merino cashmere blend yarn to create a snuggly wrap for cold days.
