Product Details

This little monkey is a fun, easy, and quick project.

Tiao Pi the Monkey lives up to his name: Tiao Pi ("Pi" is pronounced "pee", so rhymes with monkey!) means rascally and mischievous in Mandarin - and this little cutie is quite cheeky!

From the top if his head to the tips of his feet he is just under 8 inches tall using worsted weight yarn.

This monkey amigurumi pattern includes detailed instructions and step-by-step photos, plus you can contact me along the way to ask any questions.

It is an easy level pattern that involves starting with a magic ring, single crochet, increasing, decreasing, attaching pieces, changing colours, and working through both loops and back loop only.

Materials you will need:

E US (3.5 mm) hook; worsted weight yarn - approximately 50 yrds (46 m) main colour and 12 yrds (11 m) contrasting colour; yarn/tapestry needle; removable stitch markers; two 15 mm plastic safety eyes; polyester fiber
