Cabled tide pools swirl along the edge and then across waves of garter stitch.
This shawl is worked sideways, getting gradually wider.
Like many shawls worked in this manner, gauge is not paramount as long as you like your fabric. I used approximately 800 yards for my shawl, but I’ve included information about the approximate percentages used for each section.
