The Time to Make the Donuts set from Chaos Fiber Company is used to make this rectangular stole. With the addition of two buttons, you can wear it in many different ways. The central lace is reminiscent of the donuts themselves in wild sprinkle colors! The wide garter edging adds to the coziness of the shawl.
Needles: 24” or longer circular needle, size 4 US (3.50mm), or size to obtain gauge.
Gauge: 20 stitches and 24 rows in gently wet-blocked stockinette stitch. One repeat (12 stitches by 24 rows): 3.5” tall by 2” wide, gently wet-blocked.
Gauge is not critical for this item but will affect yardage used and drape.
Notions: Two ½” buttons. I used clear lightweight plastic, so they disappear when not buttoned.
