Product Details

This is another take on my car seat blanket featuring lace border, tiny butterflies pattern and contoured shape.

I included photographs to support various stages of this blanket project as well as written instructions and charts.

The blanket can be knitted either in one colour or in two - with contrasting border. I used James C. Brett baby DK yarn and used only one skein (pink one). Depending on the yarn brand and length per ball you will need about 300-310m.

I used 3mm needles however if you might used to knit DK yarn with 4mm needles. Please work to your usual gauge for DK.

You will also need tapestry needle to assemble the blanket.

I have written this pattern for your personal use only, which means you cannot resell the pattern nor blankets made using it for financial gain.

Thank you!

FEBRUARY 2020 UPDATE: there was a typo in written instructions to row 7 for the main part, however the chart 1 is correct. The pdf has now been amended and you should have the correct version in your library.

This is a very pretty design but is advised to use 3mm needles with DK yarn with gauge 19stsx24 rows. This is totally wrong. The usual needles for DK are 4mm and 22sts and 28rows. Consequently I have had to reconfigure the whole pattern.
