Product Details
These fun socks, inspired by those grand staircases you see in classic cruise liners, are perfect to use up your partial skeins or as an excuse to buy two more. When you put your feet together a broad stairway leads from the toes to the ankle and then move left and right around the legs surrounded by ribbing balustrades. The stairs employ an unusual technique for a form of intarsia in the round which involves no cutting or stranding of yarn, and once you get into the rhythm is very intuitive.
Cuff down with a standard gusset and heel flap heel.
The instructions are written for working with two circulars. They are not suitable for magic loop or two at a time. 5 DPNs could be used but would be awkward with the rotation of sts on the legs.
