Product Details
As I was growing up, my mother was always smothering her chilly feet in thick, comfy socks and toasting her toes near the wood stove or over the old, metal registers. Reminiscent of her favorite comfy socks, I designed this pair of top-down socks as a birthday present to keep her toes nice and warm through our nippy Ohio Spring.
This sock is worked top-down with a heel flap, ribbing that fades out over the instep, and a Kitchener stitch graft to close the toe.
Sizes: S, M, L, and XL.
**For Best Fit: Choose the size with finished measurements that are about 10% smaller than your actual foot measurements. Foot length can be easily altered by adding or removing rows in the last section before the toe decreases.
Size Shown: XL, model’s foot has a 9.5 in / 24 cm circumference and 10.5 in / 26.7 cm length.
