This Tortoise is crochet in one piece and the only sewing needed is the top of the neck to the shell and eyes if you use the eye pattern included.
The finished Tortoise measures 3” tall and 6” long. However the size will depend on yarn and hook size used.

Materials Weight 5 chunky chenille yarn (50 metres) (I used Aldi baby yarn 95 metres per 100g ball for the shell) and Bernat velvet for the head, legs and bottom shell.

12 mm safety eyes or the eyes can be crochet with embroidery thread or 4 ply yarn in black, white and blue, green or brown and a 2 mm hook, instructions included!
