KNITTING PATTERN for a lovely and cozy hooded jacket with cable detail. PDF instant download.
This pattern is knitted in one piece, top down, with the hood knitted separately and added when finished. Sleeves also knitted with the body so there are only two sleeve seams to stitch, (plus the hood to stitch to body). Knitted on single point needles as I'm not a fan of using DPN's, (or stitching seams!). The button bands are also knitted with the body so there are fewer seams to stitch. Easy to knit for a relatively experienced knitter.
Knitted in soft and cuddly Baby Aran weight wool on 5.00mm and 4.00mm circular needles. (U.S. 8 & 6). I used circular needles as they allow for ease of handling when you are knitting a garment in one piece. Tension; 18 sts and 24 rows to 4".
Knitted in 3 sizes; 0-3 months, (3-6 and 6-12) Finished measurements; Chest; 18", (20", 22"). Length from shoulder; 10", (11", 12") Underarm; 5",(5.5". 6")
