Product Details
This eco-friendly pure cotton baby hat makes a quick and easy handmade baby shower gift.
The knitting pattern is suitable for an absolute beginner knitter. The hat can be made either seamlessly in the round or knitted flat and seamed. Only basic stitches are used.
Five sizes are included: A (premature to newborn), B (0 – 3 months), C (3 – 6 months), D (6 – 9 months) and E (9 – 12 months).
Materials: One 50g ball of aran (10ply) weight cotton and one set of 4mm knitting needles – either 80cm (or longer) circulars (for knitting the hat in the round by the magic loop method) or straight needles (if knitting the hat flat). Note that the knitted cord on the crown will require a circular needle or two double pointed needles.
6 place markers and a wool needle are also required.
