Order of work:

  1. Start with the collar, crocheting in rounds using the herringbone stitch.
  2. Move to the upper body, working in rounds with the diamond stitch and adding shoulder increases at the front and back edges.
  3. Separate the front and back panels, working them in rows to create arm openings.
  4. Rejoin the front and back with underarm chain foundations and continue working the body in rounds.
  5. Shape the sleeve caps (upper sleeves) in rows.
  6. After finishing the sleeve caps, add underarm chain foundations, complete the sleeves in rounds, and attach them using the mattress stitch.
