Product Details
This shawl combines two different stripes: in the middle section it features a 1-row stockinette, while the sides are made of brioche. As the brioche is much looser, the shawl has a slight curve. For the first shawl I used the same long-gradient yarn but starting with different ends, and I made the second shawl with the same long-gradient yarn, this time combined with a solid black. This pattern looks great with two different long-gradient yarns or simply two solids – you can see some lovely examples among the completed projects.
This project is for you if
- you never knitted brioche before, but you want to learn
- if you knitted brioche before and you love it
- if you like the simple but beautiful designs
- if you like to play with colors
- if you have no idea what to make with your beautiful gradient yarn in your stash
