Product Details
The main interest of this hat is its reversibility. Holding two strands of contrasting yarn together creates a marled effect, which is broken up by a dramatic vertical stripe. This striping is achieved by splitting the usual cast on stitches into two colors for double knitting. The stripe starts at the very bottom of the hat and goes through ribbing, body, and crown. The stripe stitches are then combined again before finishing the hat with the Kitchener stitch. The hat is knit bottom-up with crown decreases at 4 points.
