Product Details
Ribbed scarves are great for keeping cosy in winter with that extra thickness, but repeating the same rows can become, well, boring for the knitter. Just as a really good book with short chapters will keep you reading, the frequently moving and changing patterns in this scarf will tempt you to keep knitting to see what happens next. Add to that bulky yarn on large needles and this scarf will metaphorically keep you turning the pages.
The scarf features 5 different rib patterns which transition gradually one to the next to the centre section before reversing back. The number of pattern repeats in the centre is adjustable as needed to maximize yarn usage.
Pattern is charted and has full written instructions.
A crochet hook is needed for the cast on only. You may wish to use a needle 1 size smaller for the cast on/off for firmer top and bottom edges.
