Product Details
Tulipa Hollandia, a strong red and regal tulip, with its lofty and stately petals most certainly commands attention. This beautiful flower is gentle yet stately, delicate yet tenacious. Tulipa Hollandia, a seemingly innocent flower, packs a mighty punch! The design of this wrap, with its shaping and stitch pattern, is my way to pay homage to this very tulip, showing the contrast between subtlety and strength, and in that oh so intensely powerful red.
The pattern includes charts, as well as fully written, line by line instructions.
Construction: The wrap is knit from tip to tip, growing with the addition of each motif until the full width is reached. A stockinette and lace combination is worked through the centre to the desired length, at which point the lace panel begins again. Prefer it longer, or perhaps narrower? This wrap can easily be altered in length and width.
The bobbles have been crocheted (photo tutorial included), however they can be knitted, or even substituted with beads!
