Product Details
In early autumn, the vegetation on the tundra of the Canadian arctic turns glorious shades of red and burgundy. A wonderful sense of peace and relaxation can be found by sitting quietly on a glacial erratic watching caribou or just enjoying the vastness of the landscape. These socks were designed during an autumn camping trip on the tundra north of Yellowknife. Just like the tundra, they appear deceptively simple but closer examination reveals hidden depth and complexity.
These socks feature simple cables and ribbing morphing into travelling diagonals emerging from a single cable. They are worked from the top down in a fingering weight yarn. The pattern includes charted stitch patterns and written instructions.
