The sweater is knit flat and then joined together, but if you would like to work the turtle neck collar in-the-round, I’ve included optional instructions for you to work the neck on double pointed needles … and the rest of the sweater flat. All my Miniature Dachshund sweater designs fit all dogs around the chest circumference described. If your dog’s chest circumference is somewhere close to Lena’s, please let me know. I WILL HELP YOU MODIFY THE PATTERN TO FIT YOUR DOG! The length is entirely up to you! As with all my designs I’m always available to answer any questions you may have as you work up the pattern.
