Product Details
TWITS was inspired by Countess Ablaze. It is a sideways, asymmetrical, triangular shawl design which can be made to any size and with any yarn. The edge is made as you work and once you crochet the last row you are finished! Two 100g skeins of 4ply yarn will make a shawl approximately 200cm by 60cm. This design works well in variegated yarn and also in stripes. With 2 different skeins, either do 2 large blocks of the colours or stripes of varying widths.
The pattern is written in UK and US terms and is charted.
The yarn in the sample shown uses 5 small skeins of different colours of vintage NDS yarn, which is no longer available. However the shawl can be made in any 4ply/fingering/sock yarn and if you have some oddments it would make a fabulous stashbuster!
