Product Details
Two Sisters fingerless mitts feature a squishy lace pattern perfect for those less than cold winter days we are so familiar with in the South, or lighter hand warmers when the weather is just changing. The mitts use the Two Sisters and Some Yarn Set from Sweet Mountain Crafts, named for the podcast of the same name. There is a matching hat available.
Yarn: Sweet Mountain Crafts Scree Sock, 80% Superwash Merino/20% Nylon, 389 yards/100g. Sample knit Two Sisters and Some Yarn set, which includes a full skein of the main color and two minis (purple and aqua) each 78 yards/20g. Mitts in total used 185 yards; approximately 129 main color, and approximately 27 of each of the others.
Needles: Set of 5 double-pointed needles or circular needles, size 3 US (3.25 mm)
Gauge: 5 repeats/34 rows per 4” in blocked pattern, knit in the round, measured on round 5. This pattern is difficult to measure gauge for in pattern. Use blocked stockinette, 24 stitches and 32 rows/4 inches, knit in the round.
