Product Details
This is the first in a series of yoke sweater designs inspired from my smallholding in the depths of the Dorset forests in England.
A lone hawthorn stands on the edge of our orchard and it’s beautiful bare branches in winter inspired this pattern.
This sweater is worked seamlessly from the top down, starting with a stockinette stitch neckline. The stranded yoke is worked, then short-row shaping is added on the back. The sleeves and body are separated and worked top down.
With only 2 colours this pattern is suitable for stranded colourwork beginners and the pdf includes links to video tutorials of all stitches and cast on’s etc if you don’t already know them.
Intended to be worn with 4” positive ease, this is already built into the pattern so just pick your size and go!
