Faszinated by colorful fishes, seahorses after a trip to the zoo in Frankfurt this beanie came into existence.
I used multicolor blue yarn for the ribbing, so it's basically two colored but because of the different blues in the yarn it gets a great watery effect.
Then comes a little border pattern in black, followed by the fishes and seahorse knitted in a rainbow-colored yarn (use multicolor 4-ply sock yarn, it will look great!).
The top is a lovely star with anchors all around! It's really gorgeous!
Although the beanie may look rather complicated, it is not! :) It uses at most two colors in one round and has few color changes. So it is also suitable for stranded knitting beginners.
Enjoy and happy fish and seahorse knitting!
