Product Details
My Underpass Shawl is inspired by decorative brick work I noticed on a drive up the M1 from London when the road went down into an underpass to cross another and the increasing zig zag detailing that bounced back and forth within the increasing and decreasing walls.
It’s such an easy to wear, timeless shawl that goes with everything. It’s simple enough not to overpower an outfit but striking enough to catch the eye with its jagged geometric lines and shape.
Yarn - Rowan Island Blend Fine (photographed in sh110 Tungsten) x 3 skeins Sample weighs approx. 126g and used approx. 416m I would advise having 10% more yarn to account for any difference in tension so a total of approx. 458m or the same meterage of an equivalent yarn Needles - 3.75mm needles Other - 1 closed stitch marker for placing on needles Tension - 22 sts X 42 rows = 10cm, once blocked, measured over garter st using 3.75mm needles Finished Measurements (Approximately) - 138cm long and X 36.5cm wide (at widest point)
