The arched gussets in these mittens reminded me of a vaulted ceiling. They are formed by simple M1L/M1R increases, strategically placed. The patterns are made from a simple cable and some twisted stitches, all easy to remember and execute.
The pattern has written instructions with charts for patterns. The pattern is written in one size to fit most. As written it is a nice snug fit but can be made bigger using needles one or two sizes larger than those stated.
The pattern is suitable for any DK weight yarn and you will need approx 155m / 170 yards.
