Product Details
This is a bias-knit garter shawl with an openwork lace edging. Gauge is not a particular requirement for this pattern, and it can be knit equally well in worsted or DK weight yarns.
This is an excellent pattern choice for beginning knitters who want to expand their skills. The increases are basic and repetetive, the basic pattern is garter stitch, and the lace is a fairly simplistic, repeating pattern.
This shawl can be worn as both a traditional shawl or as a cowl/scarf.
