This is an advanced beginner pattern. You should be comfortable working in the round and with increasing, decreasing and front/back post stitches.
Called the 'Versatile' hat pattern as this hat can be made using ANY yarn and ANY hook size and is sized from baby through to adult. 100g of yarn up to chunky weight will make the adult version of the hat and 150g would be needed if using super chunky and above.
