The thickness of the yarn was very inconsistent, some parts were extremely thin and other parts were so thick that I had to cut it off and rejoin the yarn.
The yarn was soft and easy to work, in crochet, with a self-stripe that worked well on the socks I made.

lovely range of colours and high quality wool
The colour variation in this sock yarn is lovely but the yarn is very uneven in thickness, is not twisted sufficiently and stitches consequently often split.
I have knitted a pair of socks but a part of the gradation wasn’t right. Ended up I had to compromise as it is. But I like the quality of wool.
Lovely sock wool. Attempting socks for the first time in many years and this wool was perfect and a very good price for a "sock" beginner.
This purchase of yarn was excellent, the produce is nice to work with and a lovely colour and texture. I am pleased with how it is knitting up, and am certain the garment will be a success. The price was reasonable for the products consistency.
Yarn is not consistent……really thread thin on some places and thick (untwisted) on Other. Not good for socks
