Product Details

Join in the advent fun with this companion piece to my 2020 Missoni-inspired cowl, Vittorio Cowl. I call this a half-vent or a 12 days project as it uses 12 mini skeins (2 each of 6 colours) and an accompanying 50 gram skein of fingering yarn.

These are the Vittorio Fingerless Mitts, also named for Vittorio Missoni. Designed for the Shall We Knit? yarn store advent calendar (half-vent or 12 Days of Christmas), these fingerless mitts comes in two sizes.

Note: These fingerless mitts were designed using Koigu ‘Minis’ which are labeled at 11 yds (10 m) each. On average, these skeinettes are longer than labeled however, for this project the cuffs are worked using the listed amount of yarn. If using the Koigu ‘Minis’ you will most likely have some leftover yarn in most colours.

Yarn: 183 (207) yards/167 (189) metres of merino wool fingering weight yarn that knits up to 7-7.5 sts/inch.

Main Colour – 75 (87) yards/69 (80) metres)

Contrasting colours – 6 colours x 18 (20) yards/16 (18) metres each
