Product Details
Wake is a pretty little crescent shaped shawl that can be wrapped around the neck like a scarf or draped over the shoulders. A center panel of ever-widening eyelets mimics the wake, the waves that follow a boat moving through the water. A rippling lace rib is mirrored on either side of the center panel, with increases worked into the pattern. Directions are given for three sizes, with both charts and written instructions.
The shawl begins with a narrow strip of stockinette stitch, which forms the faux i-cord border and continues along the edge of the shawl. The shawl is worked from the top down with stitches increased at the beginning and end of each row, and in the center panel, to form the crescent shape.
