The pattern works for either male or female heads. The sizes given are for the head circumference measurement.
Materials: 1 skein (315 Yards) (288 m) Aran weight yarn size 4 (8 wpi) such as Caron Simply soft that will give you the correct working gauge: 1 set size 8 US (4mm) double-pointed knitting needles Size 8 circular needles Cable needle Tapestry needle

Working Gauge: In stockinette stitch: 18 stitches = 4 inches (10 cm), 24 rows = 4 inches (10 cm)
