Product Details

When you say you are going to make a long flat scarf by knitting in the round and then cutting your knitting, some people might think you are heading down a very wayward path indeed. But this is actually a simple and quick way to make a soft, lacy, fringed scarf. In this pattern your work sections of plain stocking stitch at the begining and end of each round. These form your “steek”, the stitches you are going to cut through at the end. A scarf like this is a great way to try steeking (cutting your knitting) for the first time because you are meant to let your stitches unravel. So have fun.

You will need 125m each of two colours of chunky yarn.
