Wendy the witch

This is a downloadable PDF pattern written in US crochet terminology. The finished toy is roughly 31cm tall when made with specified yarn and hook. To make Wendy the witch you will need to know how to:

mr- magic ring

sc- single crochet

hdc- half double crochet

sl st- slip stitch

ch- chain

dc- double crochet

inc- increase

invdec- invisible decrease

sc2tog- single crochet 2 together

dc2tog- double crochet 2 together

hdc2tog- half double crochet 2 together

FLO- front loops only

BLO- back loops only

Materials needed: DK yarn- I used Hayfield bonus DK in velvet plum and light purple (dress), black, peaches (skin tone), paprika (hair), chocolate & oatmeal (broomstick).

Thin brown embroidery cotton

Thin white cotton

3mm crochet hook

8mm black safety eyes

Stitch marker

Sewing needle

Stuffing Scissors

Pins to hold pieces in place

1 pipe cleaner (optional)
