Exactly as described and good to knit with. I have knitted a lovely pair of socks for my son who has size 12 feet.
I have used WYS Signature 4 ply several times to make socks. It is a hard-wearing & long-lasting - both are excellent qualities in socks. It is extremely good for colour work. When it is being worked (knitted or crocheted) it feels a little rough but it softens more with every wash without losing its wear qualities.several pairs of my socks are around 15 years old!

Beautiful yarn, rich colours with a sparkle twist running through it. It is smooth and easy to work with. The socks I am making are going to look fabulous!
Is knitting up beautifully for a pair of socks. Too early to tell if the wool is hard wearing.

I use it to machine knit, first of all rewinding it . Knits beautifully with a lovely even texture. Colours are stunning and little or no residue on machine after knitting. The jumpers keep their appearance-still love one I knitted in 2019. I do not think I have ever found a flaw and I would say you get what you pay for in terms of quality, ease of use and keeping its appearance.
