Product Details
The Western Bay Infinity Scarf reminds me of the countryside where I live and the ocean that borders our coastline. I love the colours, as I love the blues and greens in nature.
I have used 6 different stitch patterns in this item, and it is edged at each side with a simple repeating stitch in every row. This is a great pattern for practising different stitches, whilst keeping your interest at the same time. For the INTERMEDIATE knitter, it uses a 6 mm (USA 10) needle and ONE CARON CAKE.
**This is also a suitable pattern for using up stash yarn. Either by knitting single solid colours to create the same effect, or using one solid colour, which I believe would be an attractive alternative option. ** If using 6 different colours I would allow at least 60m (66yds) of each shade to be safe. And in a yarn with the same recommended tension as a Caron Cake - 18.5 sts and 24 rows to 10 cm (4”) on 5mm needles
