What you'll need
Product Details
When he reached the moon is a top-down triangular lace shawl featuring a series of different lace patterns to make the knitting interesting. Worked in mohair at a loose gauge, it is wonderfully warm yet light as a cloud and big enough to snuggle into when you are in need of a little bit of comfort. It is also beautiful worked in smooth yarn, at the same or a tighter gauge. It is inspired by one of my favourite songs, „When I reached the moon“ by Morten Harket. All my designs are accompanied by his beautiful voice, so I had to name one of them after one of his songs.
The pattern has been professionally tech-edited and test-knit.
Skills needed K-tbl yo Multiple stitch decreases (k2tog, ssk, s2tog-k1-p2sso)
Gauge is 14 st / 30 rows = 10 cm on 4 mm needles for the beige/green sample and 19 sts / 32 rows = 10 cm on 3.25 mm needles for the turquoise/black sample
