Product Details
Brioche is fun to knit and so stretchy to wear. This lovely faux cable hat pattern comes with links to my YouTube tutorials covering the techniques mentioned. The fabric has a natural warmth due to the multi-layer effect of the stitches. The hat knits up quickly, ideal for gift knitting. It will be a wardrobe staple for the warmer months without compromising on style.
It is knitted from the bottom up starting with a plain brioche stitch fold over brim. I have started with the Italian cast on using a smaller needle but you can use any stretchy cast on you prefer. The stitch pattern has a 16 stitch repeat.
The pattern has been tech edited by Emily Wakeling and test knitted to ensure you have a good knitting experience.
